Join us this summer in Grand Rapids for a free dance jam in Canal Park and performance on the Gillett Bridge, commissioned by Cultivate GR as part of the Artist’s Way Project.

Dancing the Cityscape is an hour-long dance jam that guides participants through a group warm-up, followed by improv prompts that  increase our connection to nature, the city, and the people in it. Open to all ages and levels of movement experience. We hope to see you there!

Over Time is an improvised dance where viewers both intentionally and serendipitously find themselves placed within the performance. Incorporating a mirror-like material called mylar, this work offers viewers the chance to slow down, gaining them a novel perspective of how they are connected to the environment and the people around them.
